Hotel Samokov - Borovets

the decor is a bit worn out the staff were really friendly and the pool was surprisingly empty. And the location is perfect just a short walk to the slopes with beautiful mountain views from my room balcony.

The swimming pool is one of the best I have seen.

My experience was heavily marred by numerous issues. I was horrified to find the shower didn't drain properly, leaving me with a flood each time I bathed. The overall condition of my room was unacceptable, with stains and an odor that suggested a lack of proper cleaning throughout my stay.

Accommodation was huge and high-class with competent staff in an aggressive manner. The hotel was set in a central area near gondola, local shops and the ski lift. It also was in terms of skiing.

The location of the hotel was excellent and the staff very friendly.

Only 1 key per room available so if your party wanted to separate and meet back at the room it proved difficult.

It was just an excellent fit for spending a night in Borovets with great value for money. The swimming pool was clean and nice, perfect for a refreshing dip after long days. Look for better options in town instead.

The units are warm, neat.

Definitely want to stay in that area again for a trip. Fairly clean, fantastic value hotel, its location was unbeatable and brilliant and very close to the shops and all the ski hire and pubs. The breakfast includes decent food, such as boiled eggs, bangers and bacon.

Nothing everything was great.

This place was just a well-suited match for a city escape in Borovets with excellent value. The breakfast was decent, providing enough fuel for our daily adventures. Pay extra for a better room to avoid street noise.

excellent bed, bought our room online right before arriving at the hotel and a woman manager who was off duty went to the office to grab our print out so we could get our room without issues. The reception staff, however, did not seem to know how to handle our situation but were friendly enough in getting someone who could.

could not set temperature in room, cleaners were chatting very loud in the hall in the morning and one came in to our room without knocking (although we are at fault for forgetting to put the do not disturb sign on the door)

The hotels room was Warm but the sheets need replacement the service was not so good the hotel rooms need reconstruct. Some of the receptionists was not so polite.The employ in the shooting club was very friendly and do his job very well.Generally I don't recomend the hotel.

The location made it convenient, right across from the main gondola, perfect for skiing access. Although the hotel felt a bit old, the spacious, clean room offered a range of amenities like a lovely balcony and a large, comfortable bed. The morning buffet featured home-grown organic fruits, which elevated the dining experience, and the warm Olympic-sized pool was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day on the slopes.

The hotel is located in a really nice mountain scene. It is cheap and fairly clean.

The hotel really needs to be renovated.

We left a day early as it was poor.
